Madrigalia, Rochester's Chamber Singers for 25 years - Since 1994, Allyn has been a member of this high-calibre group of chamber singers directed by Roger Wilhelm. Opera Rochester - Allyn has sung in many opera performances with Opera Rochester, most recently the role of The Drummer in "The Emperor of Atlantis" in 2001. Rochester Vocal Arts Collaborative - Allyn is a founding member of this group whose mission is dedicated to artistic excellence in the Rochester, New York singing community. WXXI Public Radio Station, Rochester, New York - this National Public Radio station has enlivened the airwaves of Rochester for three decades with classical music and arts features. Allyn has performed for 15 straight seasons on the Live from Hochstein series which it broadcasts, and expert engineer Dave Sluberski and the state-of-the-art WXXI studio truck recorded Allyn's Peace of Heart album onsite at First Church of Christ, Scientist in 2000. Rochester Oratorio Society - Allyn has been the alto soloist with this marvelous large chorus in pieces such as the Handel Messiah, the Mozart Requiem, Saint-Saens' Christmas Oratorio, Dvorak's Mass in C, the Duruflé Requiem and the world premiere of Cary Ratcliff's Ode to Common Things. Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra - A jewel in Rochester's cultural crown, this world-class orchestra has accompanied Allyn as soloist in the Bach Magnificat, the Handel Messiah, and favorite opera arias. Hochstein Music School - Allyn has been on the voice faculty of this unique and vibrant community music school for over 10 years. Lamay Design - Talented graphic designer and folk singer Joe Lamay designed Allyn's CD "Our Love" and has also designed a CD and other attractive materials for Madrigalia. Mark Henderson, composer - A dear friend of Allyn's for over 25 years, Mark is a dashing talent in the world of commercial music - check out his many accomplishments. He resides in Santa Barbara, California. Allyn sings two of his songs on her Our Love album. Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester - What would Rochester do without this arts organization to support and guide the burgeoning cultural scene in this richly blessed community? Windsor Street Design Associates - a top notch design firm that designed Allyn's Peace of Heart CD and has done a great deal of work for the Eastman School of Music also. Very cool site! Eastman School of Music - Allyn got her Master of Music at the Eastman School in the 80's, and it continues to be one of the greatest music schools in the country, full not only of excellent up-and-coming musicians but also of fresh initiatives to keep the musical arts thriving in the 21st century.
